The B-Max comes with a choice of four petrol engines, including a new three-cylinder 1.0-litre Ecoboost unit with either 99 or 119bhp, and two diesels – a new 1.5 TDCI and a 1.6 TDCI.
Fitted with the 1.0T 120 Ecoboost with engine start-stop, the B-Max averages 57.6mpg and emits 114g/km of carbon dioxide.
The B-Max 1.5 TDCI, meanwhile, averages 68.9mpg and emits 109g/km
The Studio model comes with stability control, a tyre pressure warning system, electric windows and door mirrors and Ford's Easy Fuel capless refueling system.
B-Max Zetec versions get alloy wheels, LED running lights, front fog lights, leather trimmed steering wheel and gear knob, air-conditioning, heated windscreen, DAB radio with USB connection, Bluetooth and Thatcham alarm.
At launch, buyers will get Ford SYNCH included, however thereafter it will become a £250 option. SYNCH is a voice-activated in-car connectivity system which can help occupants place a call to the emergency services in the event of a crash. It also can read text messages aloud from your phone.
Buyers also get the choice of three petrol engines and one diesel with Zetec versions and prices start at £15,600 for the 1.4 90 model.
Top spec Titanium versions come with driver and centre rear armrests, cruise control, climate control, automatic headlights and wipers, 16-inch alloys and an upgraded stereo system.
The Ford B-Max is available to order now, with deliveries expected in September.
