Hey guys. It's snowing here...which is really funny. We've had nice weather for two weeks now and I really thought spring is coming. But I guess now we're stuck in "sprinter"... something between winter and spring, haha.
Anyways, I learned something yesterday. I learned that there are 820 million chronically hungry people in developing countries. 10 million people die every year due to hunger and hunger-related diseases. 24 thousand people die from effects of hunger each day...which means 1 person in every 3.6 seconds.
Now I don't mean to be depressing, but that is just how it is. Is there even a solution to such a monumental problem? It's hard to think so. It really is depressing. :-(
